i have really dry hair and idk i just cant seem to find anything that works for me. i got thick, wavy, super frizzy dry hair and nothing works

anyone have any recommendations? ive heard so many things left and right and i just dunno what to go for anymore regarding ingredients etc. ive heard to avoid certain ingredients (like dimethicone, which i just realised is in a lot of my hair products :/? ) but then ive heard ppl say the opposite so im just so confused

i just want my hair to not be dry pls help

i put jojoba oil in my hair before going to bed (and braid my hair afterwards), sometimes i mix it into a leave in mask so it moisturizes even more. it's a perfect thing to do before going to bed the night before you'll wash it! and i avoid the roots ofc, i almost only put it in the tips. it takes time for oil to reach the inside of the hair (or so i've heard atleast) so it's good to sleep with it for that reason..

other than that i have no advice sadly... bump !

do you put something over your hair after then? i worry about my pillow case getting super greasy bc that fucks with my skin :/ (i sleep almost only on the side so my pillow case needs to be clean)

what type/brand of jojoba oil do you use? i will look into trying it then

do u follow the curly girl method cuz maybe u should look into it.
if ur hair is wavy and frizzy u might be treating it like straight hair when you should be treating it like curly hair.
you need a more moisturizing conditioner and shampoo.
manes by mell on youtube is great as well for tips and product reccomendations.

no i just braid it and change pillow case shortly after that... so maybe if u do it the day before washing day (both washing of your hair and bed sheets sksksk idk)

it's kinda expensive sadly so i just buy the cheapest one i can find, think i have this one

ah.... well im a very low-energy type person and try my best to make my life easiest lmao so i dont really like the idea of sleeping with stuff in my hair bc it's just.... more washing to do (in the washer i mean) :/ i'll look into that oil tho! maybe i'll figure something out that works for me
