I nearly called the cops yesterday night

Because of what I assumed was a drunk person screaming turned out to be a dude gaming, with his window open.
He literally kept us all up to 1.30 on a sunday, before I decided to put on a mask and go down and try to ask him to

A) Shut his window
B) Be quiet

None helped lol.

I contacted my landlord who came with a
"his dad is paying for it bc he doesn't know what to do with his son" but promised he'll try to contact him. Otherwise I told my landlord I'd call the cops if this doesn't help, which he told me was fine if it continued to get worse.  (But of course, he didn't seem to keen on having police out here due to tenants...understandable)

So honestly, I'll call the cops if he starts doing that shit again. Like at some point yesterday I though someone had been stabbed, it sounded like that.

i mean it's okay to call cops if somebody just keeps being too nosy at nights in an aparment complex
but still lmao for the thought that cops come to his door like "you're gaming too loud"

disturbing your neighbours, especially at night, should be something the landlord warns the tenant about before evicting them
in my apartment complex you get two warnings if your neighbour has made a noise complaint on you (our "silence period" begins at 10 pm), and if you still don't change your behavior after those you get evicted

but if your landlord won't do anything then calling the police is the right choice

He has been warned from what the landlord told us. I don't even care, i'm calling the cops if it happens tonight.

I had to go on the balcony just to see where the hell it came from. He's been yelling like this for weeks now during the night and after quiet time (19.00 sunday - thursday 22.00 friday-saturday) and saw other people trying to locate the yelling.
