How do you deal with bad physical anxiety symptoms? Any tips or advice is very much welcome

medication now but before that i would use guided meditation/breathing exercises etc, saunaing, going on walks in nature, taking cold showers or putting my face in cold water (this activates your vagus nerve and relaxes you), reassuring self-talk, distracting by watching a show or cat videos or something

meditation and breathing exercises work best if you do them while you're feeling ok at first to make it sort of automatic and to decrease your base level of anxiety so it doesn't get so bad so easily.

Suffer, and regular exercise and meditation/breathwork.

For me nausea is my most frequent/intense symptom so lots of antiemetics, other than that taking cbd oil daily has helped a lot in the long run. I agree with breathwork too, finding a breathing technique that works for you is 100% worth a try

Medication was suggested to me but I’m really scared to try it out for some reason
I’ve also kinda trained myself to sit through the panic attacks and just letting my body and mind feel whatever they need to feel but this past week has been hell, even tho I try to eat and exercise and let myself feel stuff i’m not feeling any better
But thank you so much for the advice I appreciate it! I’m gonna start meditating to see if it helps even a little bit

it's a pretty good sign if you can survive without meds
i have meds and still can't keep my worst anxiety attacks under control - the only way to stop them is to go to sleep

yeah medication isn't the solution for everyone, there's definitely a balance of benefits and detriments that you have to consider. best of luck, i hope you feel better soon!
