As a server to try to land that apartment cuz they have another opening soon

I'm like $200 short the 1/3 ratio via net pay @ standard 40 a week at day job

When I was 23 I made $9.90 an hour and I lived alone  in this month to month meth motel for $690

I moved in with some dude who was paying $200 a week, meaning $800 a month cuz he wasnt able to afford to scrap together $690 down to switch to monthly. You really do pay more when youre poor.

I helped him split the monthly rate to make the switch, then he moved out with this chick on short notice, leaving me with $300 to my name and I wasnt always guarenteed 40 a week

SOMEHOW I MADE IT. $120 m/ groceries, $45 m/ phone bill, $65 m/ internet, no netflix, no cable, no utilities, no car. Earned about $1200 a month after taxes

Zero savings... but always had weed booze and cigs somehow

Somehow scrapped together $300 to get my first secured credit card, idfk how, I remember I was out of a job waiting for unemployment and got that $300 a month check in the mail and $1000 credit limit increase, hella sweet, fucking needed it bad

I felt like such a loser but looking back at myself at 23-24 I was a badass barely scraping by doing the very best I could, I was determined af despite a crap situation
