You can ask youself if you feel you "lack" something? Friends? If so, then maybe start a new hobby, and find some friends thru that?
Maybe think about how you would like your "future self" to be? Think about who you would like to be if you could pick. What do you wear, what do you eat, what are your hobbies? How do you feel? How do you respond to things?
Also accept your past, however it is. "Mistakes" are not mistakes, and that things happen for a reason. If you are the person to "beat youself up" for the past.
