loosing it as in mental breakdown? it's healthy letting feelings out and describe it, journal about it and then go on your day. Set small goals. Lack of motivation - do not do things out of motivation but rather dicipline, like decide to go out for a walk everyday even though it's only 5-10 min. 
Being physically active and make myself get up and out of bed/sofa usually are the only things that helps my mood, even when it doesn't feel like that  - but making it a habit eventually find yourself proud and somewhat happier and mindful. 

Other than that, def talk with doc or a therapist.

I would see a therapist, maybe you are depressed or something else? I thought I had really mild anxiety and depression, but now I am in therapy to check if I have ADHD and/or OCD (if I have both then I think they overlap eachother, and make it a whole mess). 

You can ask youself if you feel you "lack" something? Friends? If so, then maybe start a new hobby, and find some friends thru that?

Maybe think about how you would like your "future self" to be? Think about who you would like to be if you could pick. What do you wear, what do you eat, what are your hobbies? How do you feel? How do you respond to things?

Also accept your past, however it is. "Mistakes" are not mistakes, and that things happen for a reason. If you are the person to "beat youself up" for the past.

i dont even enjoy doing my previous hobbies let alone trying to make new ones

yeah ive tried for years to get referred but i always get rejected
