i am anxious about this because i think that would be literal torture with how painful it would be. i would not want to live through that. but since it's not really even treatment but just.. idk.. maintenance? i don't know if you can refuse that! ghh it's just awful

But yes, you have the right to refuse any kind of treatments unless you're under 18, where your parents or guardians will be making the decisions for you.  (Or if a court gives your parents/partner the right to choose based on certain factors.)
