Yeah, tho kinda hard to prove that someone wasn't actually worried, esp if there is history w mental illness or abusive ppl n drugs n whatnot, so I think it would be hard to get fined for it, unless it happens multiple times. Cus yeah I guess u can b fined for wasting police time, but I don't think ur usually fined if its a one time thing and its debatable if the check felt necessary for the person that called them or not

of course they can. but what the police will do is probably just calling you 
they  don't go after adults who doesn't wanna be in contact with their family

They can but I doubt they would check if she didn't lie, and if they went either way I don't think it takes much effort to send them away again
