Usually the ones here have like chairs all around and some tables. People usually sit with some chairs inbetween to avoid contact. I feel like the tv when i have been too the hospital, always have been either news or just some hospital info slide.

ohhh that reminds me of my old town which was in Western PA, things literally just sit there it was the slowest moving town I'd ever been in.

The upside is that the ER waiting rooms were always so fast, if needed.

But I'm originally from a metropolis so my western PA culture shock was probably nothing compared to if I saw the actual midwest.

EDIT: OMG this reminded me of something. Am I the only one that always hears nurses gossiping about me????

@ your edit: dude I live in a small town and I've literally had to change doctors because I see them in my social circles.

Just yes, its just chairs, mby some brochures or magazines, a tv screen that displays different health and transport to treatment information etc. silent
