I’d try contacts but you can’t get passed with suitable for wearing them without being able to have someone do it for you and I can’t let anyone near my eye like that lol

totally understandable lol
i was not expecting the optician to put them in for me when i had my appointment to get them. i was a bit startled but i just went with it and it was actually not bad at all. putting them in doesn't feel the same as when you're touching your eye, bc it's literally a piece of soft plastic inbetween. but i can understand how just having someone in your eye is too much lmao
