definitely not all american weddings are like that thank god and i think a lot of ppl my age are very over the whole tradition of it all and changing weddings to fit the current economy and their preferences
sappy moments like that are still very common though i think, but i havent been to a wedding in 600 years though thank god so i cannot confirm
Yeah I don't care about the tradition part, I just can't stand the cringe. If my future partner wants to get married I'd be happy to do it for him but no vows, no no no. It's gonna be a short ceremony followed by some good food and probably live music. Also my whole family is invited so it's gonna have to be outdoors because that's a lot of people. They're religious so they've never been to a gay wedding and honestly I think they need it.
