u wanna know how annoying it is trying to get birth control when you have bipolar disorder ? yes very

and it's not only about what meds you take

i have taken birth control for the most part for 6 years

but still they question if they can even prescribe me it and one of the reasons being my diagnosis ???? also btw these are not doctors theyre nurses but still they work with this

remember when i was introduced by a nurse to a doctor with my name, diagnosis, and i want to change birth control

or when i was questions on what the depressive episodes were really called because "they're not depression" and also "what is it called when you get u know high?"

and being lectured about how birth control can affect bp by someone who is googling it as we speak

i changed birth control this morning and they wanted to send a message to my psychiatric doctor that I was on birth control

but honestly the most funny is u know those 6 years of birth control experience but no one cares because if you have bipolar disorder cna you even take birth control ??????? who knows

some medications used to medicate bipolar disorder are not compatible with birth control so i do think it's a good thing to ask although they should know the compability by just reading the info of your meds

idk what meds you take but most my meds are compatible with my birth control, although my birth control has no estrogen because I can't take that.
