for me, this hurt like absolute crazy. like i couldn't lay still bc it was so bad and i started to cry rly hard. i've NEVER had any worries or been scared about regular gyn exams but after that whole procedure, even regular exams has started to give me anxiety too. so great. it was a bit traumatizing i think ( :

idk how it works with like sedatives or pain meds. bc i will REFUSE to do this again unless they give me something before. but idk how i ask for it??? do i tell them when i'm there, call them beforehand???? idk??? what if they don't wanna give me something??? bc i swear i'll refuse!
i've tried googling but not found any results on sedatives or pain relief for cervical biopsies, it just says like "take some paracetamol beforehand if you want to" but how the fuck is a regular pain killer gonna help me when you're cutting away flesh from my fucking cervix bitch??? take a pain killer so i can chop off ur hand??? same shit
