So I've been considering improving my garden compost system. I currently have a bucket but it's been out for one season and felt the sun a this summer, and the plastic is literally falling apart. Great. So I am considering getting a proper one but do I

A - Get a plastic one like these

www.felleskjopet.no/hjem-og-fritid/hage/stell-og-vedlikehold/kompost/kompost-greenline-master-375...

Or do I get like 3 of these except they are more work i feel like. A can be taken w me if I move. B is more stuck and probably need more oversight and space.

And you want it to compost a lot faster than a regular compost where you would just dump everything in a corner or what are the advantages of those special ones?

I compost a lot of food waste, and there's regularly animals walking past so having a locked one would be safer regarding pests and wildlife. I do Bokashi but to be able to use it in my no dig beds I need to compost it into soil. What I do now is just add my leftover bokashi to a bucket in the backyard w soil and dried browns and wait for it to break down. Its incredibly slow, and only break down in the summer months (above 15 degrees). That's about may-september, making it a quite small timeperiod. Dad won't let me take it indoors so ourdoors it is. We have a different heap for overall garden clips and my bunnys poop that's far older than me. It's what you could consider just dumping it in a corner.

That's true.
I never looked at it from that perspective because we have chicken who eat all the food waste and we burn the  meat and bones  to avoid rats,so it's mostly peels and leaves and dead plants from the garden.

I would get the first one if you want to take it with you. Do they give you information about the uv resistance of the first one?

Do you put water in your compost mix and stirr it on a regular basis?
