what books are you planning on reading before 2021 is over?

i'm currently reading:

A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara (check tw if you're gonna read this) i am only 20 pages in and i'm scared!

i want to (try to) read these before the year is over:

Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado
These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong
Uzumaki (3-in-1 Deluxe Edition) by Junji Ito
She Who Became The Sun by Shelly Parker-Chan

let me know if you've read any of these and what you rated it!

yea you start to notice how shitty life really has been after reading those books sad but it's so good to learn. leaves me a lil depressed right after tho.

my tbr is far too long oopsies

Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff
Death by Laura Thalassa
Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
& I'd like to try and finish The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson (which is currently on hold)

I have read These Violent Delights and thoroughly enjoyed it! gave it four stars and preordered a special edition of the sequel straight after finishing aha
