i haven't done actual cbt but all i learned from years of cbt techniques in mental health care was to never trust my own emotions because my feelings are wrong, that i don't know what i'm talking about because i'm mentally ill, & that i have to trust mentally healthy people to let me know what's ok/good/true to reality. and that mentally healthy (as in undiagnosed) people can do no wrong & i must be misunderstanding or misjudging due to cognitive distortions if i feel hurt by their actions
the fun thing is a bunch of "healthy" people are really unstable and abusive lmao
if anyone's done cbt, was your experience like this as well or did you find it helpful?
