to bread or not bread
Account deleted

dad took up new bread yesterday and he put it in the same bag as the old bread. i took out the old bread today and it was moldy. one shouldn't eat moldy bread bc the fungi can be really dangerous. so do i dare to eat the new bread that has been in the same bag?

bc i'm like... no, but that bread was a big part of my food plans this weekend.

Was the bag itself moist or mouldy? Cos if it’s just a couple of slices of bread I’d say it’s fine

because mycotoxins.
Also if something is moldy the rest of the bread is likely filled w spores that just aren't showing yet.

If it was in the same bag I doubt it was social distancing.

The bread isn't moldy but it probably has the other bread's mold on it. It's very likely fine to eat but knowing it touched the yuck while you eat it isn't very appetising, I wouldn't fault her for not wanting to eat it.
