here's hopping i'm allowed to do this 

the most modern/upcoming one i'm on is Dappervolk (dappervolk.com/register?referrer=Paresthesia << my referal link ;) and it's so nice community and pretty art, no complaints [1st favorite of these]

Marapets is definitely still going. it is good if you want a black whole of timesuckingness (why i'm not really on it anymore...) there is lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of games 

I think Woozworld is fun, sort of kid oriented (i think there's drama but i literally don't talk so...) and you get to make units (rooms) and characters and color the items so that's cool. me likey (good halloween events stuff rn.) [2nd fav cause site still updating]

technically Ourworld is still going but i don't know how it isn't shut down yet. cool world and athmosphere but getting money on that game is ridiculously hard. if you are interested, you have to download an application thing (b/e flash went away) which i did today cause i was curious and it's safe

Ohmydollz has lots of items for rooms and items that are cool. It's not very lively community wise (not that i talk much there either). hard to get the fancy money but you can basically play with only basic currency it just takes longer to accumulate [4th fav]

Recolor.me (i think an extension/stepchild of gaiaonline, another i've seen around lots but i thought it was shut down? but i don't think so?) might have the best avatar maker i've seen, and if you go through contests you can use every item to design w/, but the community is pretty dead i think exc. the contests and maybe 2 forums still talking lots and some memes... course i don't talk so i don't care XD [3rd fav cause site might be dead ]

menewsha, tattered world, and goatlings are others i've seen around but am not on (maybe yet, maybe won't be) this girl has the best list i've seen (www.menewsha.com/forum/entertainment-theater/computers-gaming/216537-avatar-pet-sites-list-discus...)
