basically: I have dyscalculia and have to take a GSCK subject that I did not have in school, so I can get into a different major at uni. That requires math B. basically this is what they can offer me as a help:
- Extra lessons after the lessons by a tutor/teacher = Yes please, this is very nice. Had the same kind of stuff when i had math c.
- Allows me to use more help, calculator, maple solutions for a quicker result rather than me pending 45 min on doing one piece for an example.
. Extra time during exam and preparation.
This is all very nice, however during the exam i will not be allowed to actually use any of the "help" like they will require me to not use calculator (even though dyscalculia is an actual thing, not studied in an awful lot sadly) whereas someone who has dylexia will be allowed to bring in assistive devices such as NOTA, etc, etc. Not even helping sheets that SAT are allowed to give students who require help due to an actual disability. For me it's like removing my crotches and expecting me to walk perfectly and it's bothering me.
I'm just very tired of it being like this. I probably have 20% success rate of actually passing since it's much harder than math c. And it was literally by luck I passes math c in combination of a failed exam and me passing the oral exam by getting 7.
im so frustrated ewfheoifhew
I'm still going to do it though, not giving up, but god it's sp fucking frustrating that they iterally strip you from everything. lIKE MA'AM my brain doesnt work , please just fucking allow me to have a fair chance
