People if you rp please try to add things to the story, conversation and so on.
I know it can be really hard, but its not fun if one person is doing all the work.
If a person is doing their best to write as much as they can to add things to the story and plot, just dont answer with one line. 

I get it can be hard if you are new or dont have ideas, ask he one you are rp with to give you different scenarios or roads that you can chose from and build up the story.
Ask if you and a person can practice how to build up a scenario and what you can write. and how you can write.

So class the rant is over, you are free to do what you kids do.

I will drop them, it would be one thing if they did not request it to be long and detailed. I could write 7 lines and be happy to get 1 line back. But when you write long and then get "MORE DETAILS" back and then no effort i just want to come to the end of the story. If i invest time and effort i want to end it properly because of the time i have wasted.

The funny thing is i had to write a sample because the person wanted to see how detailed and long i could write. then i write about 7-9 lines and gets a few words back. Its hard to carry and get ideas for the story if it is only me doing the storytelling. 
If it was a casual rp i dont mind to get 1 line back because then i know that i can write 1-3 lines and the story goes on. I dont have to think and plan seven steps ahead.

Do you know this person well? Are you sure they're not trolling you?

I think they might be, i wont be talking to them again. or they cold use the things i write and post it to someone else.

I know what you mean, one time i was 7 persons and i only got one line back from the one i RP with.
i could write a story by myself and post it online.
