have you looked secondhand where you live? or asked ppl in your family? I got mine for like 5nok, which is practically free. 

otherwise, I'd go for etsy but shipping probably is a make or break depending on where you live and if it's free or not. I don't rly know what's "reasonably priced" for you because we might have very different views on it.

yes, I haven't seen any equipment in second hand stores and my grandma didn't have one and she was the only one who liked handiwork
