yes, you should let the thread hang out, this makes it easier to pull out when you need to change it or just take it out

Yes, you absolutely can shower with it, no problem. you can also swim/bathe with it, and even exercise :)

overnight I would reccomend using pads if possible, rather than tampons (you won't necessairy get a toxic shock, but I think your vajayjay appreciates it if you let it breath from time to time uknow) :)

it’s not really ironic? you can’t really check how much a tampon has filled in so you can never really know

i'm not quite sure HOW often, but I used to change it two-four times during a day when I used them
it depends on your bleeding, your body and what works for you and feels right
everybody is different

if you have heavy bleeds, you may kind of feel the tampon weight a little bit more after a few hours -then it's also time to change :)

if you insert it correctly, have the right size and don't keep it in for too long, they shouldn't leak no, but it can happen so it's a valid fear

i’ve experienced leaking before !! but it’s nothing bad honestly, once the tampon is full, the thread gets wet? that’s why it’s best to wear a panty liner along with a tampon. but again, once you have enough experience and get to know your body, you learn when to change it before any leaking happens
