white pepper tastes very nice in sauces w a bechamel base imo
I just make bechamel with salt n regular pepper yes, cus yeah I think white pePper has a more like,, shallow taste yes,

idk i think the elderly are more used to white pepper or smth. it was probably used way more than black pepper back in the day. the recipes are all made for the elderly and their tastes basically, but shit gets boring fast so i need to freestyle to not puke over everything i make

Sometimes I don't like old people. I like my grandma tho cus she experiments n can make spicy food n stuff, but she uses way too much curry powder (I hate) and coconut milk (I hate)
