Anyone have some cool finds?
Or things to buy?

Gonna do a bit of online shopping
to make my place less hideous, now that i have to spend my time here constantly bc my boyfriend moved

If anyone has some cool decoration ideas or anything that would also be really rad!

How does your place look?

plants make everything look more inhabitated. i like buying frames at the second hand shop n putting pics i like in them. pillows n blankets help a lot. i love using lots of colours, esp on big pieces. its a lot easier to decorate w a big, colourful furniture as the base. say u have a green sofa, use that as ur starting point.

how does ur place look? can u take some pics

My teeny tiny place lol

This is from when I moved in, but it basically looks the same now, just with my stuff standing around as I haven't "actively" been living here

i rarely buy 'big' things from ikea, but i always buy a candle if im there

also i have a lot of plants. i love plants & green in my room, really makes it come to life

i have a warderobe with mirror doors so my room looks somewhat larger (it's quite small)

kitchen:
its small, but u have space on the windowsill n on top of the cabinet. do u store anything on top of it? if yes, do u have some plates/glasses that r "pretty" that u can store there? if no, put some plants on there. the light seems to be very good for plants! put a candelabra in the windowsill, or maybe a little radio?

bathroom:
ive taped a lot of maps on the bathroom wall not occupied by sinks or shower. it is truly a showstopper n very cheap!! ppl always comment on it very positively, n u can get maps for free at most museums, railway offices n so on. very fun, but also bathrooms arent the most exciting thing to decorate. if you lack storage space in ur bathroom, try placing two of these under ur sink, so u get some room to decorate, n also more room to put some stuff on.

livingroom:
nice light! r the furniture u have now similar/how its placed? id put up a poster or smth above the little table w the chairs

If you like plants, I suggest buying some of these fellas:

They're meant for toothbrushes so they have holes in the bottom which means you can plant plants in them and suction them to tile walls or a window (if you do that make sure the plant is one that likes a lot of direct light). Just make sure to take them off to water, you don't want whatever is under them getting wet with mud water.
