ok so i take a very strong sleep medication, and recently theyve made it so that the pharmacy has to give you the cheaper version if you get it through prescription, and i was told that it was fine to switch over to that medication. but lately i have been feeling these weird brain pulses and i googled it and apparently its a symptom you get when you stop taking medication. should i be worried and can i contact some kind of professional to ask them what the fuck is happening to me

"Brain shakes are sensations that people sometimes feel when they stop taking certain medications, especially antidepressants. You might also hear them referred to as “brain zaps,” “brain shocks,” “brain flips,” or “brain shivers.”They’re often described as feeling like brief electric jolts to the head that sometimes radiate to other body parts. Others describe it as feeling like the brain is briefly shivering. Brain shakes can happen repeatedly throughout the day and even wake you up from sleep."

this does not sound healthy

Yeah I would speak with your Dr to be safe. It could be that the new ones aren't strong enough for you if you are having withdrawal symptoms.

Yeah I just read the above, that isn't very helpful sad
Do you have any kind of mental health support worker you could get to speak to the Dr if you can't get hold of them?  (throwing ideas to the wind as I know my brother has one while he's on his anti-Ds)

call your doctor and if you're not sure who to call you could call the department where you usually visit when you're meeting a doctor or a nurse, they can probably help you

i demand the expensive medication again grrr. it was the one my doctor recommended, but my dad explained to me that doctors make shady deals with companies and make money by recommending expensive medication to patients, but literally it couldve been my doctor acknowledging that the expensive medication was most effective one

i know they say that there is no difference between them but i know people that must have a specific one, not the cheapest, because they work different on them

it tastes different so i know for sure it doesnt contain the same shit as the previous one i took,
also the first night i took it the effect was much weaker than the previous medication

yes that was literally what i was telling my dad, who the hell would buy the expensive one if there was a cheaper one available with the exact same ingredients, and how would it be beneficial for pharmaceutical companies to sell the rights to their medication, if companies end up producing cheaper versions of it
