like for me in my own life. a coworker got covid so now we're noticeably short-staffed and if any of the rest of us get it it's gonna be bad. terrified of getting it myself bc then i'll be making things worse for everyone else at work and terrified of someone else getting it because then things will be worse for me at work. stuff like that lol

oh yeah i mean fair enough. my job doesnt rly depend on any1 else but i can imagine thats a horrible situation to b in and definitely incredibly common rn which sucks

I still think it's a pretty valid feeling, to feel worried though. Because while it's milder, there are still elder family members that have a chance of getting covid and not being able to fight it.

We don't know what it means for long covid though. 
Also it still is a strain on healthcare systems and governments don't know how to handle it which means it's a strain on the economy which disproportionately impacts small businesses and the working class and blah blah blah

Thing is I think here they're trying really fucking hard but it's just not working because they don't know what they're doing. They're relying on the boosters too much at this point. Hell, my dad got his second booster yesterday.
