I made one, then i "kind of" forgot about it. It had no theme or color. But it had notes to movies i wanted to watch, books i wanted to read, things i wished for, tracking of how many documentaries i watched, important dates and what ever notes i might have needed through the year.
Really it just turned into a note book i guess, lmao.
but that is really nice though ! keeping it casual ensures that it doesn't turn into a chore, in my opinion
journaling starts to suck when you feel like you have to do it, rather than doing it for enjoyment purposes
That's exactly my problem. I do a lot of note taking no matter what, but as soon as it's something i know i have to make nice and do every week or day, i lose track. It's sort of making a deal with myself i know i can't keep. So having a journal that i can make a couple time a month and fill with notes, work way better for me.
