Yeah you have to swab each tonsil for ten seconds and then up ur nose after, I’ve got a really bad gag reflex tho so I basically throw up a little each time ew

yeah I mean they do just the nose ones mow but with the omicron they say it’s detected in the throat first so we’ve been told to stick to these ones at work, u get used to it just not the nicest thing to do first thing in the morning lol

I'm surprised to hear people found the throat one worse. For me I feelt like gagging and it tickled my throat, but the nasal ones have always stung so bad for me. Might be smaller nostrils?

I don't have a gag reflex that high up, luckily (or well, however you take it, I also can't throw up, I don't have the strength in my stomach for that) so I was coughing a lot when they did it and it really hurt
the nasal swab was super uncomfortable, don't get me wrong. I felt like sneezing the whole time and it really tasted like I had a sore in my mouth for about an hour, like if my nose had been bleeding. but all in all still rate it one above the throat one
