Is it possible one talks loud once in a while because of some hearing issues?? Or??
I've observed after spending time with someone and living with them almost two weeks that I got comments that I talk too loud sometimes and like keep it a bit down, and i'm hella selfconcious about that.
I've gotten those kind of comments only after age of 20 and I noticed it got worse with the years, and I got family with hearing loss early in their lifetime and their hearing getting worse the older they get.
Worth to get my ears checked just in case, or is it normal to be loud when you get v excited about a topic/convo ???
Idk it just seems not normal to be loud and get that kind of comments occasionally, and I don't really notice it so it's embarassing.

I mean, no harm in getting it checked, right?

it can be that but it's not like 100% certainty
i know one person who knows they talk too loud but they can't control it or smthing

tbh, i have hearing loss and i don't talk loud, neither does my dad or grandma (it's hereditary). but i guess it could cause that for some people? i feel like if you don't notice yourself having trouble hearing things it's probably not hearing loss, but there's no harm in getting checked also. maybe you could do some online tests first to get an idea?

yeah maybe, but like i can control it just i dont notice when my volume is much higher esp when im  just really into a convo, but never had this issue (as far as I know) as much as last 2-4 months or something..

I remember I had really bad ear problems when I was sick and couldn't hear for shit for a month, but it went away eventually, but it can be related so might go to a doctor if I get comments about being loud soon again lmao

it's so embarassing so at this point i hope it's hearing related than it's just how i talk somtimes

i feel like for me, i talk more quietly than others bc i match my volume to what i hear from other people. which is softer than normal.

ohh might check if there's good online tests so i get some indicator, i just have trouble hearing some words quite often - esp at work but other than that not really issues

some ppl are just louder and that's completely fine
but since you have hearing loss in your family, i'd recommend getting checked

sounds neat, i think i'll practice talking softer or more quiet, my issue are esp when it's interesting convo n u get really into my volume gets up - like notice i get em comments when im esp excited or into the topic and it's kinda kill joy when I find out im speaking too loud. But other than that usually quite normal/soft

People who comment on that on such occasions are really annoying...

Eh it's ok to say like keep it a bit down, but def unpleasant and such a bummer to go from excited to embarassed. Just a bit self concious n insecure when someone said along the lines that i talk too loud sometimes and i don't need to do that because he's not my dad who has hearing loss or something LMAO
