do they glamorize drug use
the whole show is literally abt how mentally unstable, physically ill, mean, angry and unlikable the main character becomes the more she spirals into her addiction theres nothing glamorous abt it
maybe its just bc im an addict then idk LMFAOOO like i see ppl doin drugs on tv, im like hmmmmmmm
maybe i just no like it because it (i hate to use this word) triggers me LOL
ye it might be it, same for me so havent actually been able to watch beyond first season. but ive seen a lot of clips on yt, and heard stuff from ppl i know. i think its a weird mix of things, like there a lot thats not glamorizing, but very real life stuff.
from what ive seen/heard, its not too far fetched from mine, and a lot of other peoples, experience of high school. only problem i personally see is tha, while it may be honest and raw, its coming from an adult pov. its a series for teens, but i feel its majory for those 17-24 year olds. at that point, youre already kinda up and going brain-wise
but if i were to be 14-15 and watched euphoria, i wouldnt be focusing on the bad parts. and i think its easy to forget how young people view things so much differently than young aduls/adults. id be eating that shit up like a freaking sponge at 14-15.
but its also not their(the creators) fault that 14-15 year olds might take this show and make it to something else ya know? theyre delivering a message, and its up for us on how to deal with it.
and yea it is very triggering, like love it but i could never sit 40-60 minutes watching all that.
Idk I really kinda doubt a tv show is gonna influence ppl to do drugs
