idk how i stayed in that relationship for as long as i did?? but he is very good at talking himself out of things nd manipulating so i totally believed he was a good person for a looong time. until like 3 years into it when he started talking all his racist bullshit at me and i saw how he treated other people n finally saw through it. is it weird that i keep talking about him months after we broke up, idk but i'm still just processing wtf happened
i wish there was more education about what a shitty partner or like manipulative behavior can look like, to the person receiving it. cuz it's hard to tell from that side i feel like

it's funny to me bc this character is like VERY CLEARLY manipulative and terrible as a person and then i watch him do something exactly like something my ex would do n i'm like oh. lol
