does anybody have any tips for getting rid of the infection as fast as possible and reducing the pain... it's all i can think about it hurts so bad

Don't really have any tips, just keep it really clean now and if your jaw hurts have some ice on it to ease the pain maybe?  I really don't know. D:

i never had an infection but i've sure had problems with my wisdom teeth. my only advice is to take painkillers for the pain (when i had my worst pain the lady at the pharmacy told me to take two different ones at the same time even though they are not allowed to recommend it lol) and do like Random said, put some ice or a cold towel or something pressed to the cheek. that helps a bit for the moment
