I'm a media and communication science student and it sucks

It's kinda interesting, but nothing you'll ever find decent work with.

I'm totally biased
I'm going to study archeology and always recommend that to people that love history

but the question is, what do you find ACTUALLY interesting? and will that degree bring you a job?

that sounds really interesting tho, but kinda hard to get a job if u don't wanna be in research I've heard? at least over here

i study food science, and I really like it. rn i have subjects like statistics, fluid mechanics, food science (organic chemistry) and microbiology. all my subjects are being connected to food so i feel like everything i learn has a purpose.

so cool! do u have any plans on what u wanna do after school?

well that's the dilemma, I find all those interesting, but it could also be because I know to little about those subjects, except the medicine part, but that feels like a "safe choice"  and pretty much all of them would get me a job I could imagine myself doing

oh I've never heard of that, that also seems kinda cool, is it like in the gastronomy field or more on the scientific field?

definetly more in the scientific field, but i am eventually going to be making beer, cheese and smoked salmon, but the process is going to be more important than the product. im going to have a nutrition subject as well, but there is no real "cooking" of meals involved

I dropped out a while back but once apps open im applying for the vet tech course :)

I have a (former)friend who studies archeology and they seem like they think it's great. I've heard it's so and so with the actual archeology digging jobs tho, but museums n stuff seem cool as well

Well, the degree that I aim for is VERY specific,
it's German language and literature + Archeology and ancient middle east era, so I think I have a LOT to do with it, I can be a researcher in European literature, in archeology, become an archeologist, work in a museum, historic one or archeological one, be a history or literature or German teacher... the opportunities with is are SO vast but I personally want to advance in the museum and research field,
study ancient artifacts and discover new stuff, or help discover them and put them in museums, the DREAM would be to be a director of an archeological museum, but on the side, I want to research European culture and literature, I feel like unlike other civilizations we know about the "cultured" European civilizations, but what about the times before that? so interesting.

and well, I also had that dilemma, I love SO much and SO many things interest me, but how can we pick? how do we know THAT is the one?
well, we actually don't lmao
but we can more or less see what draws us the most, and try it and go for it.
Personally, I did a list of the subjects I like and are cool and fit my interests, with that dream of working in museums, specifically history and archeology museums, then I researched each subject, and saw well, what I CAN do with those degrees, made an excel file for all that,
and then did the elimination process, I had a LONG ass list and then came down and had like 3-4 subjects? then it was MUCH easier with my dreams and goals, even without them it was MUCH easier to manage as I really thought if the jobs I can get with those degrees are well, good for me?
most of them I thought of and wanted to die just thinking about working in that thing like HELL no

cool! i'm studying to become a kindergarten teacher! but in a few years i want to study again to be a "special teacher" (probably not the right word for it but i can't find the accurate translation). at least for now! there's many things i'd like to do in life but this is what interests me the most right now!
