I have pretty thick hair for someone with straight hair so it's gonna be heavy I already know. I chose a great time to grow my hair, it's getting warm already.

Something else I did this week is I started uhhh refurbishing? This chest of drawers from my grandparents old house, it's going really well so far. My grandma painted it a horrible light turquoise years ago so I used a paint stripper to take it off and it worked really well but now I have to sand it all and it's so much work even with a sander so I'm putting it off. I can't putt it off too much because I need those drawers, the shit that was in them is just sitting in a laundry tub thing in the middle of my room, bit problematic.

Wood colour. I'll just paint it with varnish and hope for the best. There are still like, white bits in the wood grain that I need to get out but they might just have to stay there. There are some big boy cracks in the grain though so I bought this paste to seal them, seems to be working well.

I think the burnt bit in one of the drawers gives it the most vintage vibe. And the fact that it was in my dad's nursery and he's 56. It's very old.

i guess i can bring myself to listen to some songs but recently i tried listening to "there's no other way" (might i add, a song that i loved a lot) and i couldn't sit through it lmao. i should try to listen to more of their self-titled album instead of the britpop era

I really like "The Universal" though, it's very nostalgic for some reason? Especially the music video, even though I obviously didn't grow up on Blur, I'm a middle eastern zoomer, something about it. I think it reminds me of commercials in the cassette tapes I used to watch as a real small kid. Probably just the shit photo quality and weird aspect ratio.
