Is this a stupid idea
im trynna go from very dark blue practically black hair dye to smth lighter again right, but I don't want to bleach out the black because honestly I just cannot ok lol, so im waiting for it to fade as much as possible n see where it will leave me
but I have some aftergrowth which I could color in a lighter color mby, but idk if it will look stupid, but I def don't want to color it the same color as the rest of my hair cus then im just continuing the cycle of evil black hair, but also it looks stupid how it is now, with lighter roots uknow lol
the black is kind of fading tho, I had purple under it, except mby a 5cm ring around the top where I colored straight over my natural hair, so it looks kind of purple ish brownish very muted black now? So that leaves me hopeful it will mby come out a bit more too
but yes anyway the point of this was if its a stupid idea to color the aftergrowth a different color (possibly light ish vibrant purple or blue, something in that color spectrum because otherwise it will clash with the rest of my hair) yeha,,,,, also if anyoen has any tips on the black, I already use head n shoulders shampoo n conditioner which is possibly contributing to it lightening a bit already but yeah
Kind of hard to show the actual colors in pictures but?? Yeah instead of basic pure black/blue practically its gone like very dark brown purplish with some black parts some places cus I had pure black color underneath my hair so that isn't fading as much it seems, as the stuff colored over purple. It doesn't look AS dark as the pic in most natural lighting, in sunlight its quite light
