How did you go about it?

I don't even know why I'm having trouble deciding to go all the way
Consuming animal products disgusts me but I keep doing it

I'm vegetarian and I took small steps, first I stopped eating red meat and then I became a pescetarian and then a few months later a vegetarian. Then I had some time to learn more about vegetarianism and find and try some nice recipes + my sensitive stomach got some time to get used to it lol

I replaced the things I couldn't go without with meat substitutes. Maybe not the healthiest option, but then I'm not really a vegetarian for health reasons either. After not eating meat for a long time the idea of starting again just seemed weird and gross to me

I'm a vegetarian and I just stopped eating meat just like that. But taking small steps usually helps for people who have troubles with it.

it's been so long i can't remember. i wouldn't even know how to use meat it's simple not on option or food to me
but i mean there's vegetarian/vegan alternative literally to everything these days? like first time i wanted to quit animals products was literally 12 years ago and it was impossible, because there was nothing especially in small town where i'm from, like i'm not even sure if we had tofu back then. probably not. now there's everything from meat substitutes to plant based dairy products, so????

Start with being a lacto-ovo vegetarian then? Then you eat no meat but you can still drink milk and eat eggs ^^

I'm a vegetarian. I hadn't been planning on becoming one, but I had slowly stopped eating most pork cause I just thought it was gross, and then one day I just decided to quit all meat at once. It takes a while for your senses to adjust - like for a few months after I still thought that some meat in stuff smelled delicious, but now it repulses me.

i wish i had some tips, but i honestly don't even remember how milk tastes like, i haven't ever drink milk like that. but you don't have to be 100% vegan all the time! like even tho i eat plant-based most of the time, i do eat milk chocolate when i have my periods because no there's no vegan chocolate that can replace milk chocolate. as much as i love dark chocolate too
i don't know what your reasons are to be vegetarian/vegan, but you're already doing a great impact just by cutting the meat down. and like you said you already use those alternatives, so honestly no need to feel shame from occasional eggs or milk

i'm a vegetarian, and for me it was never an active choice to begin with. i was a very picky eater as a child and really disliked the taste and texture of meat. therefor i refused to eat it and my teachers used to force me to eat (traumaaa), but at home my mom made vego food for me so that i would eat. then i got the choice to eat vegetarian food in school too, and since then i've just kept on being a vegetarian.
for a few years i ate fish when i was invited to eat at someone's house for example and didn't wanna be a problem haha.

but now i guess it's an active choice to not try to eat meat/chicken/fish/milk and all that. i think i could go vegan, but i don't want to because my love for cheese is way too big, and i'm not a fan of the vegan cheese. but yeah, everything else from animals i have gotten rid of in my liiife
