Any of u hoes on adderall? I have been on this for two days and all it’s doing is making me dehydrated as fuck. I don’t feel any less adhd or like good or anything and also mood swings.

well not exactly adderall lol, one of the first meds i tried was elvanse with the same substance.
It really didn't do anything for me, so we upped the dosage, but in the end when it started to work for me the side effects were too strong i had to change

Starting meds really is an annoying af trial and error process, but it's def worth it in the end when u find the right one

Thank you. Man it’s like I was so scared it was gonna make me high lol I didn’t consider “doesn’t do anything except make u dehydrated” as a possibility.

or idk maybe I am focusing better just not like a lot but when I come down from it I lose focus

idk I wanted that euphoric brain calm thing a lot of people talk about. Like my brain doesn’t shut up I have like hyperactive thinking and it’s exhausting.

I haven't tried that exact med but I have tried a whole lot of CNS stimulants and most of them sadly didn't work for me but that's highly individual, rn I'm on Ritalin which actually kinda helps a tiny bit?

but usually it's a matter of dosage, other aid's could also be relevant!
and yeah it's very common to feel side effects the first weeks or when adjusting the dosage, so if u can stand it I would recommend to give it some time.

that's at least a sign that it has some kinda effect? even if its not the desirable effect just yet?

I hope so I guess? Idk it’s not enough. I’m tryna get enough focus to drive a car without crashing it and I’m not there at all.

Thanks for sharing with me I needed to chat with people more. I talked to my brother in law but he’s been diagnosed since childhood so our experiences aren’t entirely comparable.

yeah it really helps to talk with ppl in similar situations! my partner has also been diagnosed since childhood and is a man vs me who got diagnosed when I was about 20 and im a female so that's also kinda  incomparable.
