i just realized that ive been eating a lot this past months and idk how to prevent myself from overeating. probably because i eat when im bored

keep urself busy, or go out and keep yourself busy because then you will not be able to access food unless you spend money

if you're prone to snacking just get low calorie lollies or things that require you to chew/suck on them

the problem is i rarely go out and i uhm burned out, i used to paint before, i wanted to draw so bad but im too tired to pick up a pencil

Keep urself busy yes, if I sit at home all day doing nothing I will eat all the time n never feel full, if im out or at a friends house or smth I forget eatingĀ

i get that too sometimes, and what helpes me is just try not to snack all the time but eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and such and the urge to eat all the time usually goes away or dies down a bitĀ 

regulary and good meals usually do it for me! and don't prohibit yourself from snacks but rather think about the amount instead

well as you said youself you're probably eating because of boredom, so simply answer is to get yourself other things to do. i also tend to snack all the time when i'm at home doing basically nothing or when i'm stressed/mentally not that well, even i eat pretty healthy and nourishing food so i don't eat out of needing nutriens/energyĀ

start drinking tea, its warm and fills up your tummy, if you crave something sweet add artificial sweteeners or honey, if you want something savory, drink broth
i feel like that helps a lot with sweet and savory cravings

When you're bored try to keep yourself away from all of the food and try to distract yourself with something else. Whether its drawing or playing games, doesn't matter.
