cat shedding and bedsheets

so I have a really long haired cat,  a Norwegian forest cat with black, brown and white fur. my current bedroom is filled with his furr, especially my bedsheets and I was told trimming is not a bad idea has any of you tried that? also do any of you know of any type of bedsheets material that doesn't let fur attach to it so quickly? when I searched it said Egyptian cotton? please give me your tips because I'm moving soon and I really don't want to have the same problem there because the hair on the bed makes my skin itch and really bad sneezing (I never react when my cat is cuddling with me directly but for some reason when I lay down on my bed it gets bad..which is not surprise because it literally looks like he has been trimmed on my bed thats how much shedding he has done on it). anyways I will definitely be brushing him, he is a sweet calm cat so that's never a problem. anyways please give me your best tips and which type of bedsheets I should try

I've been having the same issue in between my dog shedding and the two cats. I'm thinking maybe satin? i ordered some and theyll be here soon so i will upd8 with that when i know

i take benedryl or something before i go to bed so i dont wake up and sneeze my head off during the night.
i think even with trimming ur cat you might still have to deal with the shed hair, just shorter maybe? both of mine r short hair so im not positive

Get one of these, seriously!!! Doesn’t need to be this exact listing just google pet hair roller, I use it to roll of sheets curtains and my couch and it gets rid of most of it super fast!! And you don’t have to deal with sticky rollers, and it’s honestly better than the sticky kind for large areas that and fabrics that are usually on furniture n stuff!

for some reason I thought he prob sheds so much because he has so much hair so thought trimming it a bit might help.. what do you think of Egyptian cotton?

not an option...I love my baby sm but might have to be a bit strict with him and not let him on the bed as much when I move
