No you do not.
To link a set you just have to copy and paste the image of the set, so right click the image of the full set.
Side accounts are allowed, you just can't claim le codes or buy le sets on a side, you only get one.

Alt/side accounts are allowed as long as you don't claim codes on multiple accounts, use it to ask for money for being new, battling yourself to gain fame, or personal gain really. 
No designers do not get paid sadly. I wish they did
