Time Management Techniques

Okay guys, real talk. I need advice, personal experience and ideas.

(Also, if anyone comes in here to joke about my istj-tendencies, please get in line; the mocking Masilein in her ignorance and obvious oblivion will have to happen at a later time.)

What time management techniques do you use?
Do you like them? What do you use them for?
Would you recommend it?
What makes it a good technique for the purpose your use it for?

I'm kind of looking for stuff that works generally in all life instances, but most importantly for working on projects (like writing papers and such) as well as just general house admin.

Currently I'm working with some general "do this shit today" to-do thing. I just add tasks whenever I need them and move them around to when I will be able to finish them. That means I have a list of stuff I plan on doing said day and then just tick it off. But it often leads to me powering through major projects and then going at it for 6hours + without a break and occasionally forgetting about things like food (not really that fun in the long run). So I'm wondering if for those things, I should get a time management technique set up?
I've heard that many people like and work well with the pomodoro technique (or ones similar in concept to this one), but I seriously struggle with a) taking breaks to begin with (I just hate leaving things "unfinished";) and b) taking the work back up once I started on a break (usually once I add an intervall, that often means I won't work on that project for well over a week anymore, which really sucks for things that need to get done within a week and I don't have the time to power through in one go).
I'm basically my own limitation to all of this and was kinda hoping someone might have a few ideas on what to try. I'm actually willing to try out new techniques and setups to just get a go on this and make me stress out less over deadlines.

sometimes when I feel like I have lots to do I write down my tasks on a paper pad about the size of a post-it and then i I forget to look at it again, as counterintuitive as it sounds it helps me remember

this one is definitely not for everyone, but i swear by my bullet journal. I set up every week with an hourly layout for each day, and that's the only way i 1) am able to be where i'm supposed to be at the right time and 2) know how much time i have in between to get stuff done. my monthly page changes depending on what i have going on, but i use this page to plan out bigger tasks that span over multiple days/weeks and to just get like an overview of the entire month which i find really helpful.

i always leave sundays as my 'get my life together'-day, and for this just a simple to do list of everything i need to get done to be ready for the weak ahead works well for me. this is also when i usually set up my bullet journal for the next week and fully plan out my life

so basically calendar blocking?
I mean, in a sense I'm already doing that, if not by the hour but by the day
I sadly can't do it by the hour since I have to be rather flexible most days (damn physical health not being predictable at all) else I would have done that by now already

i have an almanac, but thats about it. ive recently had a very intense period where i was in dire need of time management n writing down appointments.

in general i have pretty good time management skills n time awareness, so its not a very pressing need i dont really write stuff down. in the sense that i just, well, do stuff. i also have a very high working tempo and i am terribly lazy, so i will spend as lot of time as possible to have as much free time as possible. im gonna write my entire bachelor this week because, well, i just want to have a bit of a vacation LOL
