I don't think it was extremely clogged cus our other toilet worked just fine never clogged, I think just the shape of the toilet bowl added to it so it was harder for it to suck down idfk lmao

on very rare occasions, older houses may have two "main" sewer lines - it's not ideal though.
happened to my friends, they didn't think it could be their mainline cuz their downstairs toilet was fine, turned out they went in two separate directions bc of being a corner house
