I'm too lazy to scavange for my old blogpost about sunscreen, so I'm just gonna ask you guys.

SPF30 is like enough right? like for just general usage. and then I can get one that's SPF50 for like problematic places on my body (it is my nose. my nose is red. i'm rudolf the reindeer in human shape.)

or like do u guys have any SPF\usage recommendations? do I need to get like a lip balm w spf too? like will it make much a difference?

I'm going all out SPF this year it seems

i use spf lip balm but that's because i've burned my lip before and it hurts a lot

spf 30 is probably enough if u aren't planning on being in the sun for more than 2 hours, but it's individual ofc

It takes a lot of hours and intense sun for me to get a sunburn. I guess this is a blessing I have, but it also makes me lazy with sunscreen which is bad and I'm trying to change that.

So SPF30 sounds good then, I think. Thanks.

Going to try this one this year. Maybe the third option is the charm w mineral sunscreens.

30 should be okay but i use 50 because i'm pale and burn easily
for my face i use eucerin 50+ oil control but my skin was okay when i used a cheaper garnier alternative as well
do get a spf lip balm as well. they're not expensive and burned lips are no fun....

On a similar, but different note. I like to read reviews about people who have no idea how mineral sunscreens works and then get surprised by how they differ from the chemical ones, and It's like "bad review because you didn't know what you were buying and you don't like XYZ about it"

I have never burned my lips tho  but I think I might grab one this year if I pass the store.

i use 30spf on regular days and 50spf on sunny days and most of the summer. i have given up on mineral sunscreens tho, they dont seem to like my skin ever
im wondering if i can use body sunscreen on the face cus it would be so much more affordable

i would say you can use body sunscreen everywhere but i also use body lotion in my face with no issues so it maybe depends on your skin
