I don't know, I have two succulents and neither of them give a single fuck. one of them I thought had died so I put it on the window sill where I put all of my dead plants, you know, to deal with later. I checked it out a few months later, AFTER summer and winter, it had grown. I put it inside maybe a month ago but I feel like it liked it better outside hmmm

Some succulents shouldn’t even be in direct light I’ve learnt recently so idk how it even supposed to balance that,,,, mine always die anyways 😔

Honestly if you want an actually easy plant, get a pothos, they're so friendly and lovely and cute. Or a scindapsus, those are funky.
People say good things about zz plants and snake plants but I've never had either so I can't say. Our house is FULL of golden pothoseses and I have a marble queen and a brasil, all of them are very chill, mine are facing a north-west window I think? The other ones are facing an south-west window and a window that faces the garden so it's overshadowed by trees.
As for my scindapsus, I have two of them, one is lichrally in the corner and the other is hanging on my coat hanger like three and a half, four meters from the window. Both very chill, they let you know when they're thirsty, they're very pretty, the scindapsus doesn't grow new leaves very often but it hardly if ever drops leaves either, it's just chilling.

you need to turn them to keep them from stretching.
like, probably a quarter-turn every day or every other day
