as far as I know there really isn't much of a difference in the team except for how the admins handle responisbilities of designers and their set autonomy
so I guess if you really want to be sure to make the most educated choice, ask a few of the dutch designers how the process exactly goes on there and ask english designers the same for here (maybe even in private, I don't know if everyone would be willing to share all kinds of information in a thread)

not officially anymore
I still help out and such, but I resigned from the official position because I didn't believe myself to be able to do the job to my understanding anymore
