asos is the best imo, also h&m, zalando, forever 21, and torrid has nice stuff sometimes but it's more expensive. they have sales sometimes tho

It's lichrally not, you can repurpose fabric from old clothes from the thrift store for pennies, and if you can't buy or rent a sewing machine you can sew simpler stuff by hand. Also yeah altering thrifted stuff is a good bet thank you Sylvan

I LOVE Torrid, but it's best to get things out of season as they are way cheaper. Like I went in there the other day and all their winter sale stuff was buy 1 get 2 free.
