my friend lent me a book she wanted me to read, so i did. didnt think anything of anything, having a grand time reading. met her today at school and we talked about the book, mainly some frustrations of the gods. all was good and well, and then an hour later in class something was said and i joke about something from the book and the MC to her. she then just ,,, looks at me in confusion. until she asks me to clarify the main characters name(also the name of the book) and i got confused, too. said what i had already said again, and she starts to cry-laugh. 

ive been reading the whole damn book thinking her name was circle. ?? its circe. i accepted someone was named circle without a single question and she will never let me live that down

for some good news: i might get an ice cube machine for my bday next week(or the money to get one). !! and i found vegan meatballs for 30% off. yay

fr lmao, thats just how it is after that. or worse imo, when every time i read a word i know i misread i get removed from whatever it is im reading to remember that i used to not know it correctly and it ruins the flow.

ahh yess the fantasy authors one .. theyre really good with names, love that, but some names i are just keyboard smash letters in my head until i hear another person pronounce their names, or the places. 
read books in norwegian when i was a kid (ofc) and at 11 i read a bookseries called the immortals. the dude was named damen and since i read it in norwegian i had to have someone else connect the dots on why his name was "lady". fun times.
