so basically I have free public transport in the weekends and I had like the whole day and I randomly asked one of my friends in another city if he wanted to hang out and go to a museum in his city
which was rly out of the blue tbh bc i dont hang out w him like without other ppl there as well ?? but he lives there so was like yo !!
and he actually agreed !!! it was very short notice so im rly glad he actually had time
so i took the train 10 min after i asked (I was SPEED i tell u bc i was still in my pjs when I asked and the train actually left 10 min after that but i live right next to the station so its ok)
we went to the museum and it was rly cool like there was an impressionist exhibition with monet and cézanne and mauve etc and it was rly nice and there were a few other cool ones as well and it was rly nice
then he showed me around the city bc i had never been there before and apparently he was a tour guide there for a while so he told me all these things abt buildings etc and i was just there like wow ur smart (he did the same in the museum with random local artifacts)
then we sat at a terrace for a bit and talked a bit and then we went back to the station and waited for my train
and honestly near the end we both ran out of topics to talk abt and just sat in silence mostly at the station for 10 min but i honestly didnt mind at all
so yes it was so nice and hes rly nice even tho he takes me too seriously sometimes but its ok
