I ain't workin' here no more

So I put my 2-weeks notice in  and then immediately got really fucking sick
so on the bright side, I get to use up that 10 hours of sick time I accumulated (which would have just gone away when I left)
but on the downside I'm sick, and everyone at work probably thinks I'm faking it just because I wanted to use my sick time up.

Tell me about the worst job(s) you've had and why they sucked
did you quit? was it satisfying?
I've had so many jobs

I worked as a washer in this very populare family restaurant (big chain) in DK.  Basically washed dishes, took the trash out etc. Worst job, horrible employees, hygiene was so bad that I wouldn't even let my own cat consume any of the food, even to this day. Saw cooks pick up steaks that had been dropped on the floor and continued to cook it. Salad bar was never cleaned, ice cream station toppings had sometimes mold in the bottom bc workers just continued to pour new in the little containers.

Us employees who wasn't a part of the kitchen staff was treated like shit. I know I was around sixteen, but literally they talked down to us, excluded us and when we tried to discuss issues with our boss/management we were told off. I almost passed out once because of the heat by the washing station and they made me pay for a cola

(U had to rinse off stuff with this huge industrial sink before putting it in for actual washing on a crate)

I quit after a year because I literally came home 00.30 on school days - before i even went to gymnasiet, this was in like 9th grade. I remember the first thing I did was going to bed early.

I worked for my aunt for over 2 years.
She had a tiny company, training pilots for certification procedures and tests.
She was a control freak and punished all the employees for tiny mistakes.
Most of us were hired part-time so she wouldn't have to give us all the benefits but we had to work so fast, I doubt a normal working full time employee would have been able to do all that work.
We made mistakes, mostly due to being pressured so much, which ended in her freaking out and holding hour long complaining sessions.
I cleaned, I dispatched packages, managed the archive, printed over 2000 pages each day and sorted them into specific binders for the training sessions, with sheet dividers and post its for the important pages and all that shit, helped the external docents she would hire set up their tech etc etc

She flew to Hawaii or another island on the other half of the planet for 8 weeks each year while paying me minimum wage.

This was the first job I got out of high school.
I actually think this is where a big part of my anxiety comes from.

I and two other employees were let go after she didn't make enough money one year and she was getting rid of the 'dead weight'.

This was 4 years ago, I check on her company from time to time and she filed for bankruptcy 2 years ago. Guess we weren't dead weight after all.........

Okay yuck - yeah if I dropped meat in my house I'd probably rinse it and still cook it for myself, but absolutely not in a restaurant, you can't serve folks food like that, they aren't consenting to the risk.
