with hand sewing u can kinda move around and change ur position at least, but machine it's like same position + large project so im sitting by my desk for hours and that's what kills my back idk

idk i kinda tend to hunch over to see exactly where i'm sewing, but at the machine, as long as the table is high enough, i can sit up straight bc i don't need to see exactly where the needle goes if that makes sense,, taking breaks n walking around is probably the solution for both of us akshdhd
