I want to talk about something

But I have nothing to talk about so I'll talk about myself.
Tomorrow's apparently international knit day or some shit, I don't care, whatever, it just means local yarn shops are having sales. There are two good ones at a somewhat reasonable distance from me, one in Tel Aviv and one in Ra'anana. The one in Ra'anana is about a two hour bus+train+bus ride away and the one in Tel Aviv is about a 1 hour 20 minutes bus+train+bus ride away. They both cost the same. I like the one in Ra'anana more but it's farther away. The plot thickens though; tomorrow's apparently pride in Tel Aviv, which means extra traffic that I cannot predict. BUT the one in Tel Aviv is close to Dizengoff centre, which had a new thrift shop open recently that I really want to go to. DOUBLE BUT I have a skein of yarn left over from a project that I bought at the one in Ra'anana and they told me I could exchange it if I didn't end up using it. I'm leaning toward Ra'anana because I'm going to Tel Aviv next week with my friend and we'll go to the thrift shop then but I don't knowwww my life is so hard😪

Probably, Ra'anana is pretty chill. Also that means I could get a "free" (I paid for it last time but my brin is broken so it's free) skein of yarn so hell yeah. Though let's be real, I bought one of their less expensive skeins, I'll probably end up choosing a skein that's like twice as much as the one I'm bringing in but it's fineeee
Also! They have like one of those cards where they mark it every 100 shekels you spend and at 1000s you get uhhh 100 free shekels I think which is not a particularly good deal but eh, yarn is expensive here and I like supporting local businesses and I already have three markings on it, may as well get closer to 1000 if I can eeehhh

First off it is very long in Israel time but also tomorrow's Friday which means public transport stops around uhh 16 I think? So that's the tricky part but I'll still go to Ra'anana I like it better hehe

I cant bother reading that but, knitting question

when u started knitting, did u look at the batch number on yarn or did u not. Cus my mom always does that cus of the slight color difference between batches or something, but if I started knitting I would never think to look at that, like is that common knowledge or what

I mean when I started I didn't but I definitely do now. There can be a big colour difference in dye lots, even with commercial yarn (as opposed to hand dyed). I'd say it's pretty much common knowledge, especially for people who do fiber crafts, yes.
